"Lost"
Here are the instructions from Mrs Nair:
Write a narrative essay based on the title 'Lost'. (Your essay could be about a lost person, lost item, lost relationship, lost opportunity or even a lost game.)
However, before you begin writing,
1) Plan a draft for the whole story. This draft must be attached to your final piece of work.
2)Plan an orientation of a least 150 words bearing in mind the 5W and 1H. Remember to use descriptive words that allow the reader to picture the setting and characters.
3) Begin writing your story. Remember this story will be assessed.
*Class chairperson: please collect all completed piece of work and put it in my pigeon hole.

ADMT Ergonomics & Anthropometry The Elderly Challenge
This is found on the ADMT Blog:
After what have been discussed in class about Ergonomics and Anthropometry,
look at the Elderly Challenge Project that you are working on.
Ask yourself the following questions:
1) Who are you designing for? Give a brief description of the target group.
2) What is the product that you are designing?
3) What are the design considerations when designing products for the elderly?
Use the Step 1 - 4 guide for Anthropometry to help you in your design.
Step 1: Decide who you are designing for
Step 2: Decide which body measurements are relevant
Step 3: Decide whether you are designing for the extreme or the average
Step 4: Think about other human factors.
How to submit:
i) Rename the file: Index number_Name_Erg&Anthropometry (Initially filename should be Index number_Name_Guiding questions)
ii) Submit the file to the submit folder by 4th Aug 2010

Geography Lesson 9
Step 1) Download Lesson 9 if you have not done so.
Step 1.5) Copy and Paste Lesson 9 into your Geography Journal.
Step 2) Complete the Advantages and Disadvantages of the "China One-Child Policy"
Step 3) Look for the posters to fill in the last page on Singapore's Population Policies after the 1970s.
Step 4) Describe these Policies in the space provided.
Note: Mr Koh will be checking for this on 5 August (Thursday) during Geography lesson. If you do not do, there will be a CWO (copying by hand) for you to do.
