Revision: Integrated Humanities Combined Paper - 7 March

Hello everyone!

From those of you who are still revising for Humanities, good news! A list of topics we are being tested on has been revealed!

Geography:


  • Plate Tectonics
    • Transform Boundary
    • Oceanic-Oceanic Divergence
    • Continental-Continental Divergence
    • Oceanic-Oceanic Convergence
    • Continental-Continental Convergence
    • Oceanic-Continental Convergence
You will be required to only sketch out the 6 diagrams, along with all the labels, in 20 minutes.

History:

  1. Reasons and use of atomic bombs and in particular, Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
  2. The effects of the atomic bomb on Japan and the world
  3. The effects of the Supreme Commander of the American Powers (SCAP) reform on Japan
  4. The factors that aided in the economic development of Japan and the products of the Golden Age in Japan: Sony, Toyota and Mitsubishi
You will be given 2 source-based questions, based on one of the four above topics. However, since you are required to evaluate the usefulness of the source, prepare well for this.
